If the emergency involves trauma to the teeth, i.e. fractured or broken front teeth, call your general dentist or go to the emergency room of the nearest hospital.

You may try pressing a piece of wax onto the poking wire or, using a pencil eraser, press wire toward your teeth.
In case of discomfort, roll a piece of wax into a ball and press around the broken bracket. Please call our office to schedule an appointment to have it repaired.
Call office as soon as possible to have a new retainer made. There will be a charge for a replacement retainer.
